South Pacific (Trendwest/Wyndham) Club
The Worldmark South Pacific Club was developed by the Trendwest organisation
and therefore is sometimes referred to as the Trendwest club (and now,
just to confuse things, Trendwest have changed their name to Wyndham!).
The club is regulated as a Managed Investment Scheme registered with ASIC
but it is important to note that the club is intended to provide lifestyle
benefits and is not intended as a financial investment.
The Worldmark South Pacific Club is the largest holiday ownership club
in the South Pacific Region. There are over 30,000 owners who have already
joined the club and discovered the benefits of owing their future holidays.
The main benefits or the club are:
- By buying a membership you are basically buying the right to use the
properties in the Worldmark South Pacific Club through to the year 2080.
So basically you own your future holidays instead of renting them each
year.
- Unlike traditional timeshare you are not restricted to a set week
or a set location - you can choose your resort location, length of stay,
size of apartment and time of year and this can be different each year.
- You have access to the all the Worldmark South Pacific Resorts as
well as around 67 resorts in the USA, Canada and Mexico through Worldmark
The Club in the USA. A list of the South Pacific resorts can be found
on the next page of our website.
- For even more choice you can join RCI, Interval International or a
number of other exchange companies to swap your points for accomodation
in literally thousands of resorts all around the world or for other
holiday options such as cruises.
- The number of credits required for a particular apartment can never
be increased. This means that if a 2 bedroom apartment in Port Macquarie
in the peak season currently costs 10000 credits for a week then in
20 years time it will still only be 10000 credits.
- You can save your credits for up to 2 years or borrow from the following
year to enable you to have a bigger holiday.
- As well as using your credits you can use Bonus Time
or Fun Time to make reservations at short notice using
cash instead of credits. For example a 1 bedroom apartment will generally
cost between $68 and $100 per night depending on the season and location
(note that this is the total cost per room - not per person!).
- If you can't use your credits in a particular year you can make a
reservation for relatives or friends or even make a booking and rent
the room.
- Your holiday investment is protected as all club properties are fully
owned and are completely free of any mortgages.
